Rosemarie (Ryan) LeTourneau, Lodi/Milton, WI  (1935 - 2011)

June 15, 1935 - February 15, 2011
Rosemarie (Ryan) LeTourneau, 75, formerly of Milton and a resident of Lodi, died peacefully Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, after a sudden and brief illness. She was born in Center Township, WI, on June 15, 1935, the daughter of George and Inez (Baker) Ryan. She was the loving wife of 55 years to Richard “Frenchy” LeTourneau, who preceded her in death in 2008. Rose was an incredible mother, loved and admired by her seven saintly children. Rose was a multi-million dollar producer as a real estate agent in Janesville. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Milton, for 30 years and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Lodi. Rose was always a ray of sunshine to all of those who knew her. She summered in Lodi, where she golfed, entertained friends and cherished her beautiful flower garden. Rose wintered in Mesa, AZ, where she enjoyed and dominated tennis and golf with her terrific friends at Valle Del Oro. No matter the location, Rose’s life was enriched by close, lifelong friendships. Her infamous cat naps left her with endless energy to golf with her grandchildren, whip together an unforgettable meal at the last minute, which meant a house full of people at any given time. She delighted in any opportunity to beat the odds with those alluring penny machines, regardless of her success; she was always a winner in every aspect of her life.
Rose is survived by her loving sister and friend, Kathleen (“Babe”) Dustan of Janesville; seven children: Laurie of Colorado, Linette (Stephen Tracey) of Evansville, Louise of Lake Geneva, Stephen of Janesville, Brian (Amy) of Satellite Beach, FL, Richard (Cheri) of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Patrick (Elizabeth McMahon) of Janesville; Adored by her 16 grandchildren: Phillip, Kerry, Eileen, Andrea, Betsy, Brian, Danielle, Michael, Bill, Lindsay, Ashley, Briana, Dylan, Austin, Colton, and Tessa; and five great-grandchildren: Ryan, Gage, Avery, Layla, and Zayn. She was preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers: Kenneth, Quentin, Ike and Robert. She dearly loved and was loved by her countless nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011, at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, MILTON, with Msgr. James Uppena and Rev. Francisco Higuera concelebrating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 until 7 p.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME. Interment will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Milton. Rose was my neighbor and a very good friend.  She was every thing a friend should be and was always uplifting and kept me laughing.
She would call every week to see how Ed was doing and I heard that even as sick as she was in the hospital she asked her sister-in-law if she had heard anything from Ed?  (he has cancer)   I am really going to miss her.  I love you Rose
